This replaced the original driver-side front door lock. For the first 4 months, the part worked fine. Then, when unlocking, the car started beeping 10 times. The door unlocks but while beeping, the lock keeps trying to unlock and unlock and unlock. You can hear the inside lock button trying to unlock and you can also hear it clicking. It's like the lock is sending the wrong signal to the computer that it is locked while it is actually unlocked. Buying this, I was aware that it may not last long but I decided to give it a try anyway. I hope others have a better experience but I can't recommend this part.

This was installed on a 2019 Toyota Camry front driver’s door.The part worked great for a few weeks, then one day it wouldn’t let me open the door using the outside or inside door handle, the remote key fob or using the key.I had to enter the car through the front passenger door and climb over the center console to get in the driver’s seat.Luckily I had a Slim Jim and was able to unlock the latch through the top of the door with the window rolled down or I would’ve had to try to remove the door panel with the door closed, which wouldn’t be a fun job.Spend the extra money and buy a better made part or a OEM Toyota part.

Inside door handle quit working after 2 months.
