The display on my MacBook Air died and the fine folks at the Genius Bar wanted around $600 to replace. Saved a bundle doing myself: watch a couple vids, took my time, and the new screen works awesome. All the functions work (camera, brightness, etc). Save several hundred bucks and fix it yourself.

This screen worked out great. I'm not tech savvy at all, but was able to replace the screen myself and it works just fine. I watched a couple different youtube videos. Each had their strong points that helped in the process. I paused the videos as I went along and kept small containers in order of removal for all the different screws so as not to mix them up.I had to buy some extra screwdrivers that did not come with the set. That's the only down side. It says it comes with everything you need, but it definitely does not. So you are better off buying a computer repair kit separately. Still was way cheaper than a new Macbook or a screen from Apple.

I took a chance and I know about the TRUE TONE not working as that is just the norm with replacements and most people that I serve, repairing their devices, do not use it. No star loss here.The installation was smooth and what a nice set of tools added to sweeten the deal. Bonus points always.If you are unsure of how to repair this device but don't want to pay $600+ to do it, play it safe, be careful, and if you choose to use YouTube, watch it a few times to get the full understanding.Otherwise, this product met my expectations, the colors are vibrant and there were no pixel failures, no damage and it was packed extremely well.

Easy to install, quality is OK, not as good as OEM but good enough. The one I got seems not brand new because there are some finger marks on the screen, but not a big deal to me. for $180 bring the broken MacBook air back, I am happy with that.

After 10 months of working the screen flickers black and stops working. I barely move the laptop, it’s for home office work. The screen also has noticeable large light spots at the bottom in full brightness. Overall, not recommended.
