Out of the 5 I recieved, two broke rather quickly but the other three are still going strong and make sharp cuts in my 3axis mill

This NZ brand 4-flute, 90-degree carbide end mill is perfect for starting pilot holes on the lathe. Because the flutes only go a very short way, the shank is very stiff, unlike regular drill bits that can easily wander. For me, this works even better than center drill bits, and the carbide will take almost forever to lose its sharpness..

This 1/4" chamfer mill works great. By measuring over a ball bearing in a chamfer cut with this, I calculated that it's ideal tip would be 0.016" past the actual end - that's about as pointed as I've ever seen. That sharp tip means this can be used to chamfer even tiny holes (#2 anyone?). At the same time it will cut relatively large chamfers (up to 0.176"). Having a long shank (2.5") means that this can reach into tight spots and still apply a significant chamfer. This cut well in both aluminum and 4140 (it's a 4-flute tool). The full spec is nicely etched on the shank - something I've really come to appreciate.A great addition to my cutter selection!
