Part worked as required.Little disappointed that Amazon shifted delivery to USPS which caused a 1-day delay

Shipping was very fast, item was as described. However, when i disassembled the trim and unplugged both lock and motor and then plugged them back again, old lock started to work normally. So i guess sometimes you just have to turn off and on again. Part was good but i didn't ended up needing it.

The first one I ordered clearly been opened and returned. I hoped for the best but it had the same issue as the one i needed to replace. Fortunately I returned it and tried again. The second one came unopened, new, with a plastic film over part of it. This one looks to be an updated part. It only has three mounting bolts, the original had four. Works as it should. Hopefully it will outlast the original.

Replaced power latch assembly on my 2018 Kia Sorento due to original failing. Part worked as expected. Love how easy parts are to replace on my Kia. Unlike my Chrysler, trim comes off nicely without clips breaking and minimal screws are needed to disassemble.Edit: 2 months later and part stopped working. Not sure if this is OEM or not.

Easy to install on my wife's 2016 Kia Sorento after her trunk lift failed. Previously it was stuck shut and I had to manually release it from the inside. Then it wouldn't latch closed. Not fun when trying to load / unload things. Hardest part was trying to make sure I didn't break any of the plastic tabs on all of the interior trim parts while disassembling. You have to start at the top of the inside rear door and work your way down. Overall it was a very surprisingly easy fix. Just a few bolts, kind of a plug and play scenario. Seems like these fail pretty common as I read a lot of Kia complaints. It also seems like if you are still under warranty (we were not) and you raise a stink Kia might replaced it for you for free. I found this from Kia "A Service Action is a repair program without customer notification that is performed during the warranty period." So these aren't "recalled" technically but they know they suck! Super sketchy. Out of all of my self repairs this one probably involved the least amount of cussing and bloody knuckles so that's a plus.
