Washer wouldn’t start and was displaying F5 E3 error code, door lock kept clicking. I actually had an issue trying to open the door. To have it serviced would be 1 month away and expensive. Instead I watched a YouTube video to replace the door lock assembly. I was shocked how easy it was. I had the assembly out within 15mins. Remove spring loaded band around the rubber door seal. Pulled off the seal on the area by the assembly. Removed 2 screws. Ordered and it arrived the next day. Installing was simple too, though you will need a third hand to reinstall the spring loaded band. Worked great!!!

I installed this a couple of months ago and I haven't had any problem with it at all yet. For the price it was great.

This is it! This is the piece! The washer keep clinking sounding like it was trying to lock the door and it would lock the door then error code F05 E03 and it was nearly impossible to get the door back open.This piece fixed it! Take off the seal (no need to go in through the top) and reach to the right side and you'll feel it there, unscrew it from the front. Unclip the little electrical pieces and swap it out. Then search for "tricks for getting washer seal back on" and you'll find a video that tells you to hold the screw driver with your thigh and use both hands to get the darn band back on, but it works :)

Doesn't work. The door latch that was sent to me was faulty and made my washer power not turning on
