These are exactly as described.I plan to use two of these to support a swing bench under my back upper deck. There is no doubt that these are heavy-duty eye hooks. They will more than cover the weight support I require for a two-seater bench. Excellent quality.

I installed these for a swinging bench in our gazebo and they are perfect. I’m not sure what coating was used, but I don’t think it’s thick enough to be a powder coating. Hopefully, the finish will hold up well to chains rubbing against them. To that end, I put some thin foam inside the eye when torquing them into the logs to protect the finish. Do yourself a favor and drill a pilot hole first. The coarse threads have plenty of bite and the bench swing now feels rock solid. We couldn’t be happier with the appearance and performance of these eye hooks.

You're going to want to likely drill a pilot hole for these eyelets as they are very thick. I put one into a 6x6 beam I had in my garage and stress tested it. I'm not going to say how much weight I put on it but the beam was going to fail before the islet.Good quality, OK price, and good overall design.Recommended!

I have a large breed Rottweiler and sometimes I just need to tie him off in one corner of the room. Considering this holds 600 pounds worth of strength and I have seen him really try to get off of it and it holds him down I would say this is a very good buy!!
