What a wonderful innovation! I wanted to create wax seals for invitations and was thrilled to not have to fuss with the traditional method of creating them and that with these I can simply pop a wax tube into my low-temp glue gun! Fantastic results, easy clean up, and the wax itself is not overly brittle or tend to flake off the paper after cooling. Outstanding value. Highly recommend!

Amazon review of vine product metallic color wax sealing sticks for hot glue gun 3 colors 60 pieces 5 stars 12 16 23 no photosAntique Gold Wax Seal Sticks, ONWINPOR 60pcs Glue Gun Wax Sealing Sticks are gorgeous in color and finish. They work so well and are doing well with my cordless mini glue gun. They are not glue sticks and do not offer any adhesion, but the product is soft, has a waxy feel and can be used for a number of craft purposes. The idea for using hot glue guns and sticks along with the letter seal worked well, but that glue bonds well and causes the paper to tear. I was so happy to see that the companies picked up on this a came up with the wax sticks for glue guns.Using this type of wax, uses a lot of product per seal. The issue I have is getting the gun to express the wax fast enough to deliver the amount needed, before the material cools too much. This is a major challenge, and it's not cold in this room. The product solidifies very quickly. Perhaps doing the work on a heated mat would help, but so far I have no solution other than going back to the pellets. It's probably a great idea to keep your glue gun and wax stick gun separate. Have two guns. I've tried to do one project and then another, and the colors and clear glue sticks, it's a mess and not a happy accident type of thing at all.5 stars but I wish the product cooled slower. It's a safer temp to work with but also a very short working time.

These are my favorite 7mm wax sealing sticks. They have a satin to somewhat semi-gloss finish. They melt down in an electric warmer to a nice thick creamy consistency. It takes about one inch of stick, cut, in order to make a one-inch seal. They move very little when floating a brass headed stamp on top. It takes minimal pressure to spread the seal and it has a tendency to want to make a nice circle. I do not care for wax hot glue guns, and after discovering electric warmers no longer ever use candles for melting. I spent some time testing 10 different brands and varieties of wax. I have included photos of my test seals for comparison. All tests were done with a one-inch brass head stamp and electric warmer (except for transparent hot glue sticks). As you can see, this wax, indicated as "J" on the test sheets performed extremely well. Highly Recommended.

Make sure to use a low temp glue gun otherwise it will melt to the point it just runs out of the tip. Other than that, it takes a nice impression.

This sealing wax is of the very durable sort — the "bendy," very adherent kind that's demanded by modern mailing practices — consequently, there is a bit of a "plastic" sheen in all three colors.Photo shows the black color, which is slightly pearlescent. The white is a true white (by my standards at least) also pearlescent, but the "dark red" strikes my eye as more of a coral-ish pearlescent burgundy ... and doesn't suit me.I'm keeping the black and the white however, as they not only perform well in a glue gun as intended, but also melt well just by using a lighter and a bit of extra care.I overlooked the size of these 7mm sticks, couldn't use them in my 1/2" gun, so had to improvise.
