I have an existing Havox LED light box with 4 light strips (2 top, 2 front) I use for jewelry product photography but was missing light from the center bottom. I also have a problem with white round spots appearing on Swarovski crystals when using direct light from the led strips. These lights have a diffusion cover so they don't cause spots on crystal jewelry (though I still have to allow for unavoidable light reflection) and they provide light to the bottom of items I'm photographing eliminating any shadow from above. They have improved the quality of my jewelry photography and are especially helpful with crystal jewelry photography.The lights come with a wide variety of plugs for different electrical outlets (I used the USA one) and the plug just slides right on to the transformer. Plug the cables into the dimmer and you are ready to go.I can't speak to the quality of the magnets.If I hadn't already invested in a light box, I might consider a Foldio.

Bright and easy to manipulate but the magnets are too weak!
