Works well to hold different size batteries. Preferred this size to some of the larger ones offered. Haven't tested the battery tester yet. Was just happy to have all my batteries in one place. It doesn't have a space for those little round ones -- I think a size 2032 or something like that. I chose this because of the zipper closure rather than a snap closure which can be hard to work.

Glad I purchased this. I tend to be OCD about certain things, this is one of them. I love having all the batteries organized in 1 location. Its is a necessary tool to have around and good value for the money. I have opened it in front of family/ friends, and they have purchased one as well, so it makes a logical gift. It makes it easy for elderly family members to just open and pop a battery out. It is not big or bulky. I fit mine inside a kitchen cabinet making it accessible at all times.

After two instances in five days where I put a bad battery in a device, it occurred to me that I might need a better system for organizing all my portable power sources, AAA to 9-volt, dead and alive. After a brief search on Amazon, I found this case which looked like it had the capacity I needed in a compact and convenient package. It turns out to be even better than I expected. I rummaged through several drawers and tool boxes gathering all the loose and diverse batteries I could find, and I still didn't fill all the slots. The foam liner holds each cell securely and accessible. Well designed and made. My only issue is that the case isn't rigid enough to store it handle-up without support.
