If you have a round door knob, this is very useful, particularly for apartment dwellers (with the code dial being visible, I'm not sure if want that visible on the street, but you can always lock it up in a designated area, like a side fence).These kinds of boxes are excellent for ensuring EMTs can open a door in the event of an emergency without breaking the door in (a costly repair!); they can also help with home/apartment owner directly in the event they get locked out.I found it easy to set the code by following the instructions, but NOT easy for others to guess, and thus far not easy to tamper with.I got this because a loved one living alone has a medical emergency and their door has to be broken into. Since then, we've added this box and had two more medical emergencies, but this time, EMTs were able to get in with communication with emergency contacts. We asked them to lock up the keys afterward in the box, and they have. Peace of mind that my loved ones can get help in an emergency- A AND that their home is safe while they're away.

Worked great for a month or so, and then one day it just wouldn’t open up. Didn’t change the code or anything. Just won’t budge. So can’t get it open and can’t get it off my gate. Boo!

Caben 4 llaves de tamaño estándar y los materiales se ven resistentes. Lo pondré a la intemperie y espero que dure bastante.

It's being used inside a building so I can't speak for how water proof it is. I can say though, that the instructions are very simple and the lock box opens easily when needed, and sits securely when it's not in use.

Las instrucciones para ponerle el código y para instalarlo son muy fáciles. Nos ha sido muy útil para usarlo en nuestro airbnb.
