Much better sound than expected. Has more bass than expected. And it handles my 200 watt receiver well. We've watched movies outdoors with these speakers and I'm happy with the sound. Always had to carry speakers in and out on clear days, nice to just leave speakers outside 24/7. They hide well too. Will they sound like high end speakers NO... however weatherproof design and sound are much better than expected.Months later updated reviewSpeakers rule, they have enought bass to sound acceptable without a sub and hide so well in environment... best purchase I've made by far... love em.

I have two of these by the pool. They do well at throwing sound low so it propagates well to listeners in the pool. They’re not the highest quality of sound but they work.I wanted omnidirectional speakers like these as the setup needed but I had put some (more expensive) ones in my prior backyard. Their problem was that they were up firing. That is the drivers pointed up with a sound dispersal cover above them. These new ones have the driver pointing downwards to the passive sound dispersal cone.The problem with the former ones was that dust and pebbles collected on the actual drivers surface over time, and that corrupted the sound quality. They had to be cleaned out regularly. These don’t suffer that shortfall.Overall, I’m quite happy with them. My sound source does have a 10 channel audio equalizer. I will have to play with that to see if I can clean up the sound a bit and give them more punch.

I’m very fortunate to know some wealthy people with very nice exterior audio and professional installation. I’m not but also know how to install anything. These speakers set up in the right place are the real deal. I have 4 and I couldn’t be happier. I don’t know how long they will last but there speakers? Forever maybe?

I purchased 2 of these forza 850's along with the OSD 300 watt amp to power them and was severely disappointed. The speakers get about half volume and the bass starts to clip, it sounds like crap unless you keep the volume about a little less than half. Its 2 speakers running on a their amp and they cost $500 bucks all together and its lame. Not to mention I bought the 8" underground sub and it was defective and had to send it back. So very unhappy with the quality of OSD's products. In total I bought 6 2" directional speakers, 2 850's, the 8" sub and 2 OSD amps and had to send nearly half of them back. It was a lot of money and a lot of wasted time.
