Al medir la compresión en una motocicleta al llegar a las 180psi boto la goma de la válvula del liberador de presión que venía mal apretada, recomiendo que revisen y reajusten en caso de ser necesario para que no les pase lo mismo o de lecturas de presión errónea.

Tried 2 of the Amazon red box specials, junk. This one has an excellent build quality and gives consistent and accurate readings. It costs $100 more, but is worth every penny.

We are yet to receive the Input Tax Credit for GST. The supplier has not filed his return. This is completely unacceptable. Can you ensure this close at the earliest.Further the product and supplier both are absolutely pathetic.

I'll caveat my review by saying I'm not a professional mechanic. Well, I did have dinner bought for me once after working on a friend's car, so that's sort of like payment. Not sure that qualifies me as a professional mechanic, though.I purchased this kit to work on a friend's car (a different friend, I have at least 4 of them) that had a suspect head gasket issue. I've always wanted a compression tester and this was the perfect reason to buy one. I own other OTC tools and I've been really impressed with them. Along with the other positive reviews here on Amazon, I had no hesitation buying this kit. OTC has another compression tester kit () that has fewer hoses, but it's only 10 bucks cheaper so I splurged and got this deluxe-o model. The kit contains all sorts of adapters and hoses so I'm guessing it'll work on just about any engine out there. It even comes with a little spare parts baggy that has extra valves and o-rings which I thought was a pretty nice touch. Kit feels solid and well made, and has a nice case to keep all the parts together. The gauge is covered in rubber molding to help protect it from any whacks and bangs during use and is pretty accurate. For what it's worth, I rigged up a contraption to compare the OTC gauge to the gauge on my air tank and they measured the same at 100psi. At least now I know the OTC gauged measures the same as the cheap gauge on my air tank. For me, buying this kit was sort of like a rite of passage. My tool box is full of all types of wrenches, sockets, ratchets, whirly-gig thingamabobs, etc., but this is my first real troubleshooting tool. You know, the type of thing that most people won't have in their garage. I'm feeling a little giddy.Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to a friend--or in this case on Amazon, I'd recommend it to total strangers.

This kit does contain all of the adapters I need to test with. The valve on the tester is located on the bottom of the hose which makes testing small engines painless. The case: The case is a formed plastic which contains all of the compartments for the adapters and the tester itself. Everything seems to fit pretty nice and when the lid is shut it contains everything well. The latches are mechanically hinged instead of a molded hinge which is a great thing. The main hinge is also mechanical so this case appears to be built to last. The adapters: Each adapter comes with the appropriate seal whether taper or O-ring. One tip I can offer is if you use one of the screw on adapters wrap the adapter with some electrical tape to keep it on the hose. I haven't had an issue but it's a small tip that can prevent some frustration if the adapter gets stuck. The gauge: The face of the gauge is easy to read and appears to be pretty consistent. The pressure release on the side of the gauge is a nice feature. The needle holds solid as a rock and since the valve is located on the bottom you can even unscrew the gauge while keeping the reading. The rubber around the gauge is pretty thick and it does grip well. The hose is plenty long enough to route around a hood and stick the gauge on the windshield so you don't need for a bump starting switch. So far I have used this gauge 3 times and there are zero complaints. It has everything I look for in a mechanical compression gauge.
