I bought this item to change sp on my 2007 Ford f150 5.4 L . After viewing u tube vds I decided to do my own tune-ups. This tool was recommended. And I’m happy to say it works great. Save yourself a lot of hassle if you use a buckle or extension. A broken sp is no fun.

"Learn from the mistakes of others because you won't live long enough to make them all yourself." Since these 5.4L Triton plugs are a nightmare, and also not the same size as any of my other generic spark plug sockets, I went ahead and bought the OTC 6900 Spark Plug Socket and I'm glad I did. After taking the advice of many other people and employing several tips and tricks, I was able to get the original (18 year old) factory plugs out of the engine in one piece -- but only just barely. Of the things I struggled with, the spark plug socket wasn't one of them! It fits like a glove and works like a champ.

Fantastic tool... it is a must have for changing plugs on this model.. makes the process way easier, especially for first-time D.I.Y.ers like myself
