To be fair, I did not buy these for their intended purpose. I purchased with the intent to put them in my French door windows for a pop of color stained glass style, and they did work well for that.. at first… but after a year now they’ve all wrinkled and shrunk and warped just from sitting in the sun. So unfortunately I’ve had to take them all down now and will need to find an alternative

Excellent price, there was a ton of these in there, and they showed up like the next day we use them to make a stained glass. They look beautiful.

This is a nice color assortment of 1-foot gel squares. I took the film off 10 of the 20 (there are 10 colors, each 2 times), then easily cut rectangles from each color to fit between my Magmod bracket and modifier.It's convenient and space-saving to store a bunch of cut-to-size colors with my flash controller for using whichever one suits my mood at the time.When testing these on an outing (see sample pics), I brought a neutral gray cube so I could adjust the colors in post, since these aren't just white balance gels (CTO/CTB, or orange and blue). However, I don't plan to do this in the future.When I'm creatively using unusual colors, I learned I want to leave a bit of the complementary color on the subject in whatever way feels right, so I don't need it to be true to life like it's some product shoot. If you haven't, study some basic color theory so you understand which colors are "opposites" (complementary). Then you'll know what color your background will be tinted when you choose a color for your light and adjust it toward its complementary color in the edit.I haven't tested these on a flash that gets hot or continuous light that gets hot, but they warn you not to use them on something hot. So be careful, especially if you're using a modeling light. But the good news is that you have lots of backups if one gets a little melty!

These color gels are very nice. Super heavy duty and work as expected. 12 x 12 is great for trimming to the side though need or I just using as is
