This is a great hat for the money but be very careful when measuring for the fit, i thought i did agood job but it was very big on me.

The dye on the leather strap bleeds everywhere when it gets wet, leaving orange stains on the hat. After falling in the river with it and wearing it in the rain a few times, it's pretty bad. If I had known, I'd soaked it in salt water to help set the dye. But other than the terrible strap, the rest of the hat is nice. The wool seems to be good quality, not that I'm an expert on boiled felt or anything. Be aware that it has a floppy brim, there's no metal wire in there to keep its shape.

Liked the hats. Stylish and good quality. I`m a petite lady (5`7, 125 lbs) with a small head, bought size small as I usually wear. The hat is so small I can hardly pull it on my head and it hurts to wear for more than a few minutes - too tight. I wish there was an exchange option, but have to return and order again - this time Medium.Added: returned this item today - $37.10 to return to Australia, $19.47 to ship it here. The grand total is minus $56 dollars and zero hats. USA customer, think twice before ordering hats from Australia - they sadly may not fit, and return is not cheap. What a bitter experience.

I wanted a good looking hat that I can use on vacations and travel and this one is just what I wanted. Light weight, crushable for packing and has an adjustable chin strap for windy conditions. The hat also has a cord running through the headband that can be used to adjust the fit; a nice feature not in the online description.
