I am very pleased with this solar charger for Google Nest Camera! With 5W of power, it can charge the camera battery quickly and efficiently. The long charging cable (13.1 feet) allows me to place the charger in a strategic place to get maximum sunlight.

Easy to install and significantly more affordable than the big name brand version of this. Even when partly cloudy it's been able to keep the battery level stable. Something to be aware of is that this will never fully charge your battery but it will maintain it to about 70% and provide trickle charging after that, it's as designed and it's how the Nest cameras handle all solar chargers. The build quality of the solar panel is good enough and it handles rain okay, the quality of the stand itself isn't the best but I'm not planning on moving it around a lot anyway so it's a non-issue on my side.

I dont normally write reviews but felt like I needed to warn some people.Don't buy this model because it's cheaper. I bought two and neither of them worked. The cameras would go into "plugged in mode" instead of "solar mode". I even followed the instructions by unplugging and plugging back in "8-10 times" and it never switched to solar mode. Only THEN did I do some more research and found out that another company (Wasserstein) is actually licensed by Google to make these solar panels, and the unboxing videos I watched showed seamless installation, no "plug back in 8-10 times".

Easy to install and work great. Now I have cameras around the entire house with no hard wiring.
