Used them to install cable railings. These rubber plugs worked better than other options out there. These have slits in them, which help inserting the plugs into the holes. Using some soapy water helps lubricate the plugs. I had to insert them into the holes first and then thread the cables through.

I used to have a gap between the railing supports and the metal wire. This worked great to fill it in.My holes were a little on the small side, so I used a step drill bit to open them up a little. After that things fit in perfect and there is a much cleaner look now

They did exactly what I needed them to do. They pop in tight, and don't fall apart. Overall, I can't say much for the longevity, since I haven't had them install for long enough to see yet! Will update as needed.
