I've owned Dewalt cordless tools for quite a few years now, going all the way back to when 12 volt was the state of the art. Over the years, I've upgraded tools as newer/ better battery options became available, and once Dewalt came out with their 20 volt system, I decided that this was the "sweet spot" with cordless tools. Huge assortment of tools, and great power/ longevity from the 20v batteries.With that said, I do have a few 18 volt tools that I use on occasion, but not nearly enough to justify buying the same tool in 20 volt. That's where these adapters come in handy. They allow me to get the benefits of the 20v batteries on the older tools.This two-pack of battery adapters is just about perfect. They fit into my 18 volt tools just about perfectly- not too tight and not too lose, and they also fit the 20v batteries perfectly.Zero complaints with this product. I highly recommend them if you're looking to breathe new life into your older 18 volt Dewalt tools!

I still have some old 18v tools and now some new 20v tools. My old 18v batteries are beginning to die. Now with this, I can use my new 20v batteries and not worry about running out of batteries. This really is convenient when carrying both 18v and 20v tools. You only need to carry 20v batteries. This is a great idea and a wonderful purchase. I recommend it.
