I bought these to use in my weld shop seem to be working pretty well. Haven't been real hard on them just covering stuff.

I only give it 2 stars because it works. I was able to catch sparks when welding and grinding. That's where the positive review ends. As noted by a lot of people, the blanket falls apart before you even take it out of the bag and continues to shed fiberglass everywhere as you use it. Grommets are a joke because one fell out as soon as I unfolded it, and it's easier to just poke a new hole in the blanket when you need a hole. There is a very small warning in the bag to use gloves when handling, and that it's normal for the blanket to shed a little bit of fiberglass, but that's an understatement to how much cleaning I have to do now that I've used it. Unfortunate that I didn't read reviews, would have definitely been more careful or looked for a higher quality product.

Se perforó rápido, algunas chispas de la soldadura la quemaron

Perfect for use in the shop where protection from welding and torch-cutting sparks is desired/mandatory. The blankets are well made, with excellent hem stitching. The weave is tight enough that you could probably place the blanket over a finished floor and not worry about "hots" going through the blanket and damaging the surface. They are HEAVY enough to keep the wind from blowing them around. The only downside to their weight is if you have to hang or drape them over an object that needs shielding - you will need STRONG spring clamps to hold them in place.

Used blanket as a windbreak/trailer protector from high btu stand alone triple burner stoves. Needed a windbreak in Death Valley (30 mph winds) for 2 high btu camp stoves. Using the grommets, we hung the blanket up the side of the truck's utility trailer. We put the stoves up against the blanket. Grommets tore through the loose weave of fabric. Blanket protected the stove from wind and it also protected the trailer from high btu heat.

These welding blankets are the real deal. I’ve used them under and around my plasma table setup and near my smoker—zero issues with heat penetration or fraying. They're thick, durable, and don’t stink like some fiberglass blankets do when new. Got exactly what I expected, and then some. Solid buy for anyone working with heat or sparks.
