These are decent silicone thermo pads that seem reasonably well-made and for the most part work just fine without issues. These are designed for M.2. 2280 SSDs but of course you can cut 'em or use multiple of 'em however you want as long as it suits your needs. They come in 2 sizes; 1mm and 2mm thick. I can't really verify their claim regarding thermo conductivity although it's significantly higher than most others of silicone-based thermo pads (i.e. about 1.5-2x higher) so its' likely overinflated with exaggerated figures. In any event, it's (the 1mm version) able to lower the max temp by about 4.6°C during max load (i.e. 100% CPU) which isn't exactly great (thus my suspicion regarding overinflated thermo conductivity) but it's not poor either.≡ ValueAll things considered, these are decent silicone-based thermo pads that seem reasonably well made and for the most part work just fine without issues despite the fact that they have exaggerated thermo conductivity figures because the performance during the tests simply doesn't align what's being advertised. They are somewhat reasonably priced at $10 for what they provide and their apparent material quality, usability, versatility, and performance. There are plenty of other options and/or alternatives out there that are much more effective (but you'll have to spend more for larger quatity) if you care to shop around. Your mileage might vary.

Ordered via vine.I just bought a larger branded pack of virtually identical 13.0 W/mK thermal pads when these came up and they appear absolutely identical, even the blue coating is identical so for £5.99 it's decent value if you have several SSDs.However it's not the very best, because depending on your heatsink setup, 2mm is really too thick for most applications where 0.5mm to 1mm would be better, these need compression also with a thin as layer as possible or you are insulting if this is connecting to a copper or aluminium heatsink. If used on their own without any heatsink, then maybe it makes less of a difference if you have airflow. And also for not much over £10 you can buy a larger square and branded product, of various sizes and thicknesses.Since these are designed for SSDs, £5.99 is still pretty cheap although I can't use the 2mm pads as they are too thick. But I was able to cut them up and stick them on a few chips, not that it was absolutely necessary. So I would say if they did these in a 2x 0.5mm and 2x 1mm that would have been more broadly and universally useful. As some people think thicker is better, they come with the same clear plastic cover and blue top cover literally identical, so they're pretty easy to apply. But if you have something big like a Sabrent Rocket dual copper pipe m.2 heatsink, then even the pads supplied are already quite good and need to be a specific size for the screws to fit it.But I actually used the 1mm thermal pads to add a second smaller but still effective heatsink, which stuck straight on the side which fitted perfectly. Effectively making the heatsink slightly bigger and adding a set of fins to the side, which surprisingly made a noticeable 3C difference. The more fins the better especially when there is also airflow. Don't forget to compress the compound as many brands of these thermal pads will instruct you that max thermal conductivity is with 1mm to .06mm with compression, for example. The second 1mm pad I used on the underside of the motherboard directly underneath the CPU, which allowed me to stick another slimline but decent heatsink on there, since there is some heat transfer through the back of the CPU to the opposite side of the board. And I needed the pad otherwise it would be electrically conductive. That also seemed to make a small difference on idle, at least on SpeedFan possibly as one of my cores hit 7C. Previously it would idle at 8C-10C, and speedfan under-reads on most sensors, except for the M.2 sensor on my Mini-PC which is identical to Fan Controls higher and likely more accurate sensor readings. But I wasn't expecting anything significant, I just had a spare m.2 heatsink to put somewhere. So if for some reason 2x 2mm and 2x 1mm is exactly what you want, then these are great value I think the compound is exactly the same as my branded version, with virtually the same claimed thermal conductivity. But if you're using these for big m.2 heatsinks, I would not recommend the 2mm in any scenarios, you could compress is alot until it becomes thinner, or I just cut it up to be used on some sections of my CPU heatsink. These have to be compressed to reach their maximum conductivity, especially the 1mm.Whilst 1mm is the most common size of thermal pads, even more basic reusable thermal pads.Unless you have some unique scenario, 0.5mm with some compression is going to provide the best heat transfer, literally 0.5mm will transfer 4x more easily than 2mm, and 0.5mm will become somewhere around 0.3/0.4mm after compression. If you are placing these between a full copper plate or piped m.2 heatsink then 0.5mm would be the best option, or with this product the 1mm if you compress it well.So the product comes in a decent plastic box for storage, not that these are really reusable.I would say that the 2x 2mm thermal pads are not good for M.2 drives and/or heatsink applications, the 2x 1mm allow for double the heat transfer. It's a case of less is more. The compound is otherwise great, but if this were 2x 0.5mm and 2x 1mm it would have been far better for all applications on M.2 drives and or heatsinks. People will still choose to buy the thicker 2mm compound thinking its better when it's usually the opposite. However, the product is advertised as 2mm and 1mm, and thats exactly what you get. Whether or not the 2mm pads are a good idea or not, is up to the buyer and what they want to do with it.So if this were 0.5mm and 1mmm I would give it 5/5 stars as its more versatile and usable for it's intended purpose, even though some M.2 heatsinks will come with 2mm or 2x 1mm pads maybe because it sounds or appears better. So i'm still giving it 4/5 stars as the product is as described, decent value and good compound and thermal conductivity appears to be exactly as advertised as literally identical to my branded one.

I used them with M.2 SSDs, and they worked fine without any problems. I can't give any quantified results for comparison unfortunately, but I can at least say that they helped with my psychology of not using and losing stuff. I usually feel uncomfortable sticking thermal pads permanently, fearing that I might change the SSDs later. Having such thermal pads as spare helps me with that fear and lets me use them with an ease of mind. So, aside from their performance, they give me ease of mind just by having them as spares too.
