Seems to be a quality control issue. Received one with blemishes so I exchanged it thinking I got a lemon. The second also has blemishes, but not as bad. Overall, great looking faucet. It is unfortunate to pay for new, but it does not look it. I don’t want to wait for a third one to come in for it to also have blemishes.

I do not like the push style stopper at all! Bought two faucets and both stoppers don't work!! They do not fully close properly in order to hold water! When I clean my bathroom, I want to fill sink with water. Otherwise, I do like the color of the faucets.

I did not return this item. I liked it. I just used the box to return a different faucet for a bathtub
