As advertised, this is a set of three very generic 55mm pinch lens caps with microfiber cloth.The caps work very well. The pinch action is fairly light, but it stays in place quite well. In the photo you can see one on my old Minolta Rokkor 58mm f/1.2 lens -- this lens has a 55mm filter thread, just like most Minolta lenses from that time period do.My sole complaint is that the 55mm size is mysteriously more expensive than similar sizes. A 55mm filter thread is fairly common, but not in high enough demand to explain the price differential. Neither does the 55mm size have any special features. However, the 55mm size is more than 1.7X the price of either 52mm or 58mm, and it is even 1.4X the price of 105mm lenscaps! In fact, prices from this seller slowly increase as you go from 37mm to 105mm, except 43mm, 55mm, 77mm, and 82mm are disproportionately expensive. Bigger caps use more plastic, so I understand that cost trend, but there is nothing special about those four sizes that would explain a higher cost. The 77mm size is particularly overpriced at 3.5X the price of a 105mm cap!The price for three 55mm caps is still a bit less per cap than most sellers, so I'll give this 5/5 stars. However, most sellers don't have price vary this wildly with size. I certainly would not recommend buying a 77mm cap from this seller!

These lens caps with side pinch release are approx 50% thinner than those with the pinch mechanism built into the front. This makes them better for fitting the camera into a carry bag or pouch. Pity they don't come with a cord attached, but I drilled a small hole and attached a cord that way. 52mm fit perfectly.

These are basic side pinch snap lens caps, 10g each in weight, while an inner pinch one is 15g in weight. Anyway, three for $8 is a good deal. I have a set of lens ring adaptors, so by using a 62mm to 67mm adaptor, this 67mm cap can be used for a 62mm lens.
