Wanted a soft cooler that would be lightweight and space friendly. I live in NYC so hauling things around a subway is never fun when leaving and coming back on a weekend trip. The slim design and soft touch made the experience much better.This bag was slim, lightweight and the strap it comes with can be looped through the top loops to act as a handle or shoulder strap.Kept my drinks cold for over a full day during a heat wave. Paired with 6 ice packs. Mix of glass bottles and cans. The long shape is helpful for things like wine bottles. Fits easily behind my truck seat.Pocket and mesh was perfect for beach gear or whatever you may choose.For the price and perfect size, I don’t see anything comparable to this.

I honestly grabbed this for the slim profile because it's worked out perfect for grabbing meat trays from getting groceries or deli platters from Costco on my bi-weekly run. Initially I did have concerns with the condensation build up inside the liner, as I would see a bit of water collecting. I thought it was leaking, but it was just condensation that would evaporate through the outer shell, so yes, it's breathable and still water proof from outside in!It holds a slim refreezable ice pack along with a couple of drinks and sandwiches or a small tray of rolls. The best size for day travel and trips for a few hours. Another great Pelican product in the soft sided category.

I bought this to use for additional drinks/snacks on a two day river trip. I have a rebel 100xr which came with a pelican ergocast SB seat. It comfortably fit on the seat back using the included bungee cables, but I did loop the back strap of the seat through the loops on the cooler to secure it even more. It kept my drinks surprisingly cold throughout my trip. It did get damp from the melted ice on the inside but i'd expect that out of any softshell cooler. The extra pockets were great for a few fishing/paddling extras i normally keep around the seat.Overall, it's an excellent little cooler to help save space on the water. So long as you have a proper "lawnchair" style seat on your kayak it should fit nearly any brand.
