This works great but for the insta 360 x4, it's waaaay too tall for helmet mounting. It's not the adapter it's the cam. 6.25" when connected to the cam and ready to click into your helmet. You MUST get the side mount to helmet mount the insta x4

Used this to attach a Insta 360 to a GoPro mount on my airplane. Made out of metal and withstood the strong winds and forces exerted on it. I would recommend, good product for its value!

Used this to mount an Insta360 to a motorcycle. The tightening system is brilliant and I feel confident that it'll be secure.

I recently switched from a GoPro camera to a Insta360 camera. I had a ton of accessories for my GoPro, but since GoPro uses the 2-prong attachments for its accessories, while Insta360 cameras uses the threaded attachment. This device allows me to use all of my GoPro harnesses, selfie sticks, and accessories with my new Insta360 X4. This adapter fits my camera and the harnesses seamlessly. The adapter locks down in place very tightly and holds the camera very securely. It is made of some sturdy plastic and almost feels like metal. This little piece has saved me so much money. I now do not have to buy all new harnesses for my Insta360 camera. This part works very well and I am so glad that I found it. I highly recommend this adapter for those that need to use their screw type cameras with two-prong harnesses and accessories.

This is probably more a complaint about the generic GoPro design of that swivel joint than this thing, but I cannot for the life of me put enough torque on the clamp screw to keep it from gradually bouncing down toward the ground. It's attached to my handlebars, and I'm riding on paved roads. Also, the setscrew that locks the short stud to the knurled ring was not tight, and I almost lost my Insta when it started unscrewing in the middle of a ride. The threaded stud ended up staying in the camera, and I put it back in the mount and tightened the set screw. I think.Going to look for some other kind of mount.
