I have a smaller pond (1000gallons, 7x15) and I have full grown, large breed, SA cichlids.. so finding any kind of hides or decor is a challenge. I bought this bc I love the other pieces I have bought from Penn Plex (the maker), especially the large castle with side A & B, bc it’s enormous and perfect for huge fish. I am aware of the given dimensions for this castle, but knowing the company, I just envisioned it to be bigger. It’s 10” but it’s dwarfs itself next to their 2 part 18” castle. I have plenty of Convict fry at bottom who would probably love it, but tbh money is tight right now, so i’m not trying to buy them another decoration when they have plenty. This was specifically for the big fish to hide behind, bc it is 10”H, but after opening it and inspecting it, I can confidently say they will never pay any attention to this bc it offers them no protection or privacy to sleep, so i’m returning it.If I had a smaller tank in my house though… this would easily be my first choice because any smaller fish would love every part of this… but i’m talking very small like tetras or cory’s or something like that. The archway openings are maybe 1 inch at the most, so not even an adult convict would be able to get in there. Actually, I just measured and they are exactly 3/4 of an inch wide.. that’s why I am saying very tiny fish. It’s not a matter of just them fitting, it’s a matter of is it big enough for them to swim fast at to try to escape without brushing against something and hurting themselves and their pec fins. So any tiny fish will get the most benefit from this, but it’s not cheap, however it is worth the money if you have the right fish for it. Or maybe you just want it lol it’s a great piece with insane attention to detail. If I was really into mid evil castles or whatever this might be cool.and FYI I have one side of the large castle that has been outside underwater for 3 years and still looks great when it’s clean. It’s the exact same as this castle just bigger. I didn’t buy the second half until 6 months ago (bc I didn’t know it existed) and yes you can tell one side is older but not as much as you would expect from a hand painted piece.. and this piece also will last years and years, especially not in sunlight like mine is. Everything I have ever bought from this company is A+, even their 3 piece spongebob aquarium set 😭🤣. This just doesn’t suit my needs right now 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe i’ll buy it again in the future but more than likely i’ll just get another side A or B or both of the extra large castle they have. It’s two different sides that look fine by themselves but when you add the other side it turns into one massive castle that connects by a bridge that becomes one large bridge when they are next to each other. So cool lol you should all check that out.. it’s about $45 each side but sometimes you can get a deal on “used like new” resale. Penn Plex is a very reliable company and id buy anything they make it I liked it… it’s absolutely worth the extra $10 or whatever more it is than their competitors.

Muy detallado el castillo, pensé que sería más grande, sin embargo las medidas de la publicación son correctas. Tiene algunos bordes filosos solo tener cuidado con eso

No hay mucho que decir. El tamaño es ideal para un acuario de 60-100 lts luce bien.

El producto me encantó y a mis peces les encanta, al poco tiempo de ponerlo empezaron a nadar alrededor de él y uno ya lo está haciendo su casa temporal.La primera vez que lo pedí me llegó roto, pedí la devolución de mi dinero pero después de haberlo visto me convencí de que lo quería porque se ve de muy buena calidad, la pintura es excelente, el material se siente muy bueno y es muy bonito. La segunda vez que me llegó fue sin ningún problema y solo confirmé más que sí quería este producto.Limé un poquito la entrada al castillo porque había uno que otro pedacito que se me hacía muy filoso y un pez se podía llegar a cortar, pero me tomó máximo 5 minutos hacerlo y ya estaba listo para ponerlo.Muy elegante y me encanta.

Me gustó mucho el Castillo. Lo recomiendo mucho para cíclidos, ya que por naturaleza al ser territoriales buscan escondites y así evita uno que se anden atacando unos a otros. En lo particular tengo 3 "escondites", el castillo, un submarino que también compré hace meses aquí y una cueva que hago con piedras de río. Buen precio con una muy buena calidad y detalles.

Me encanto el diseño y el material, se ven de muy buena calidad, esta alto no es para una pecera de más de 40 cm a menos que te guste se vea pequeño. Lo compre por 280, y teniendo en cuenta que aquí en Mérida los venden como en 600 o más, la relación precio calidad es magnífica.
