I really like these. You can write on white paper or black paper and the colors are super pigmented. I will say however that on black paper, it seems as though its not as bright, but I suppose that is to be expected.I feel like they are as smoother than most gel pens and don't skip as much. They are wet for a few seconds, so you have to be careful not to smear the ink following writing something but compared to a lot of other gel pens, I feel like they dry pretty quick. I have been using these to write to my pen pals and they look so cute and bright! I hope they release more colors :)

I am a bit of a pen-aholic, particularly in terms of gel pens and markers. These are a great new type to add to the collection. They are thicker than most of the pens I write with, but still perfectly useful for "regular" writing. I was most surprised that they didn't bleed through my notebook paper, even given how bold and plentiful the colors were.They really shine if you are looking for something to use for more than writing. They are great for drawing, doodling, decorating cards, coloring, etc. They are so smooth to use and the color fills spaces quickly and easily. Love them!

I love gel ink. It writes the best in my opinion. I really like the fun, bold colors in this set. It just makes writing more fun, and I do a lot of writing. The colors add a very nice touch to greeting cards, too. These pens are comfortable to use, the ink flows smoothly and easily, the pens and gel ink are very good quality, and the tip on each pen is not too thin or too thick. These pens are also fun to use for doodles. I like gel ink so much better than ink in ball point pens, and I wish that it lasted longer than it does. For a bright pop of cheerful color, you can’t go wrong with this set of pens, especially from a well known and respected, quality brand like Pentel.

These pens write gorgeously, the ink so smoothly spreads across the paper. It's been a long time since I've used gel pens - at least since high school in the early 2000s - and I forgot how wonderfully they write. I've been looking for a pen that writes well, is comfortable to hold all day and has a fine tip. These check two of those boxes - the tip isn't fine enough for what I originally needed it for. Instead of filling out and color coding spreadsheet boxes, I've taken to using these pens for writing notes and corrections on staff paperwork. The bright colors really stand out and, somehow, corrections aren't as harsh when they're done in hot pink.**UPDATE** Once opened, these pens last for a couple days before they stop working completely. I have taken the ink out of the casing to check and see if the ink ran low or I used it a ton and there's a ton of ink left but they won't write. I thought w/the pink that it was 'clogged' or there was an air bubble and started using the purple and after almost the same amount of time it stopped working as well. I suppose I could take the nib off and see if it actually is clogged but I shouldn't have to 'do surgery' to make a pen work and I definitely don't want the mess.
