The items didn't do what it described and is a waste of time and money. I've purchased products like this and this by far is the worst. Pen doesn't write and the light is terrible i wouldn't give it to a enemy. This was a gift for a nurse but sadly I wasn't able to give it to her because it didn't work.

Fun gift to give as no one seems to have seen these before, so it was rather novel and fun to give! And people thought they would be helpful to use!

This pen (actually two in the set) is one of the best pens I've found for jotting notes and reminders at night, when I don't want the light to wake my husband next to me.I've tried pens that have a light at the very tip, only where the pen point is.When I've used them, I can't see what I'm writing until after I've written it. The pen point is in the way of the light.With this pen, the entire page in my journal is bright enough to see, and it's easy to write or sketch on the page.However, that's still a little brighter than I'd like, so I used masking tape over part of the pen's barrel.The one gripe I have with this pen is the way it's constructed. (I'm right-handed, in case that makes a difference.)As I write, the pen tip slowly retracts. It's as if I'm turning the barrel (which is how to retract the point, manually)... when I'm not.So, I've added clear tape to where that part of the pen meets the upper barrel (brightest lights) portion. That prevents the barrel from rotating, and the pen tip - if it retracts at all - goes in far slower.That's solved it.In general, I like this set of two pens and keep one by the bedside for those late-night additions to my shopping list or my to-do list.For the price, this is an excellent deal.

I've had this pen for several months now and it is working great. I use it for writing in a dream diary in the dark so it's serving it's purpose! It comes with pen refills incase I run out of ink. The batteries are simple to replace. It comes with a cap so the light is not accidentally activated and the pen tip retracts with a twist. I have one in blue and one in white light depending on it's use, or just for fun! Great pens, as long as I need to write in the dark!

Overall, I am pleased with the Glowseen® LED Light Pen Light.When I first bought this pen, it failed. The threaded join between the upper and lower failed.So I gave them a bad review. But that had failed under work conditions. I bought another, and kept it by my bed for late night notes. It worked well in a low stress environment.They contacted me, sent me two pens for testing. These looked like all the others.I lost one. Then, for reasons I forget, quite likely to test the strength of the threaded join, I pulled apart another.I got my nightstand pen mixed into the testing. I am not sure which pen I now have.My pen after about a month of use ran out of ink. So I guess I am done until I get a refil.And I can’t find the other.What I was using this pen for was to write up truck details outside. A coworker showed that a flashlight held in the off hand will work as well when I can rest the clipboard against something.The light is large enough to illuminate a standard size sheet of paper, and is very good.The pen has several joins, all potentially wobble, most don’t most of the time.I have grown to like it.
