We have a few senior cats that LOVE to tell us they’re hungry at 3 AM. With the app this makes it super easy and convenient to feed them without having to get out of bed and hassle with the feeder. Plus this gives notifications when the food levels are low. No more guessing if you need to refill or not! Not to mention. Everything comes apart and is dishwasher safe, perfect for keeping everything clean. We also like that these are rechargeable (says 30 days battery life) so you are no longer reliant on an outlet to have a feeder location. Perfect for our busy pet friendly home, so I bought 2!

Now that I've has this in use for a few weeks... This feeder has held up!I got this feeder to be able to feed my cat when I'm out of the house at feeding times. My cat has a Maine Coon (think the size of a small-medium dog), so he's big and has a lot of physical power for a cat. This feeder has held up and not let any food out when it wasn't supposed to, which was my primary concern since he's on a diet.Good stuff:- App setup is simple, but using 1/24s of food to measure took some trial and error before I was comfortable feeding the cat with the right amount of food. It's easy to set up timed feedings or to do a one-off immediate feed.- Food tower holds plenty of food. Since I am not using this for every meal every day, it takes a while to deplete.- Actually cat-proof. Despite his best efforts, no food as ever escaped from this feeder when it shouldn't. There are some possible issues if you have a larger cat, which I'll explain.- Battery charged fairly quickly and has been running for a few weeks so far. That's plenty of time between charges for me.Issues:- Because of my small-dog-sized cat, the feeder was being knocked entirely on its side. No food ever released when this happened, but I needed to set it back upright. To prevent this, I had to wedge the feeder between the fridge and a heavy object to keep it upright. This has worked since I set it up.- The feeding dish can be pulled away from the food tower. While this would not prevent feeding from happening, it Is annoying and food could get in places you don't want it to when it's released. I was able to put one piece of tape across the bottom plastic to hold them together, which still allows me to clean the main bowl. No issues with this since then.- Again, you will need to figure out exactly how many 24ths of cups of food correspond to what you feed, which takes a little time. But once you know, it's all set up.Overall I am impressed with the integrity of the feeder and it holding up despite the best efforts of my cat to cheat on his diet. I definitely recommend it, and with smaller cats I don't think the tipping issue would come up at all.

Ok so the only thing I didn’t like was the wifi connect issue when I first got it, I couldn’t connect it for the life of me. Got my bf involved and suddenly it was fixed. Turned out it wasn’t that difficult but I have a masters and couldn’t do it. So you might need someone techy to help you. It’s not Australian electric plug so I also had to buy a converter. Once these things are fixed you will be so happy with this machine!!I set it so my cat eats before I wake up, so she doesn’t wake me up for food. And reduces her meowing at me for food.We’re still using packet food at night so haven’t fully transferred but I think it will be amazing when we do.The battery life is fantastic. I left it off for a week and it was still at 80% but then I charged it and it went to 90% so not sure if it’s indicator is correct or it really does just have an insane battery life.It’s very solid. My cat has already tried breaking it open and failed. I now have it between some dumbbells so she can’t knock it over either way. It’s been a few weeks now so I think it’s safe to say it’s not easy to break into.I love that I can give her a little 5g snack if I’m at work if I want to just to make a little surprise in her day.The machine feels very good quality and looks very minimalist. And I’m quite a picky person.It does make a noise when the food hits the plate, so you need to have it somewhere it won’t wake you if feed her before you wake.It gives you alerts if there is a disconnection issue or the food is low.The app works so well with the machine I’ve had no issues. And it’s very user friendly.As long as her kitty litter is nice and clean I could go away for a day or two no worries. If it was longer I’d want someone to come clean her litter but otherwise could probably go away for a week or two with no issues.Could not recommend this more to cat owners.

I purchased this about a week ago, so far I'm really pleased with it. I measured the portions and agree with other posters that it may be slightly off but with my unit it has not been significant. I did find it a little tricky to figure out the portion size the way Petlibro has it calculated in the app. Petlibro has on their website a FAQ that explains how much each portion is (1/24 cups) and I used an online calculator to figure out how many portions to give. You can give 6 feedings per day, I use it for two. If you have a kitten or young cat this would be perfect because they need to eat several times a day. The feed now function always works and the scheduled feedings have gone off every time exactly on time.It does have a battery option but plugs in as well. This is reassuring if you are away and your power goes out.I use it with the PetLibro Polar feeder for wet food in the morning and they are perfectly timed. My cat usually sits and waits for the food to come out but the noise of the food hitting the stainless steel bowl is loud enough he can hear it a room away. The noise may be annoying if you are setting it for very early in the morning and don't want it to wake you up but I find it useful and it is brief. It doesn't have the function to set a voice recording to call your cat like the more expensive models available but the noise does the trick for us.It has a sensor to tell you when to fill it and holds a lot of food. I have gone a week so far not filling it and I feed my cat 10 servings in 2 divided feeds per day.Overall very happy and paired with the Polar, my cat is happy and taken care of for days.

I love this feeder! I love the simplicity of it and the app is great. I love that everything is so easy to clean!!! I love that when there was an issue, the company was clear and communicative about the network problem and assured there would be steps to make sure it doesn’t happen again.Unfortunately, after just a few months of owning, the battery depletes after just a few days of charge. It works fine if it’s plugged in. It would probably last through a power outage for a while, but I don’t trust it anymore. Will just keep it plugged in. Even still, I give it four stars because I still love it.
