This feeder is far from perfect, but if your cat mainly eats wet food and you need a way to feed him when you're not home for the day or overnight, it's the best option out there. Believe me, I've tried several. The ones that require ice packs under the compartments are terrible. While this is very big and bulky, and likely too high for kittens or smaller cars, it's accessible for larger cats.The challenge with wet food feeders is keeping the food fresh. Not cold, but fresh. This unit like others seems to confuse the two. This feeder keeps the food cold and while it claims it allows it to come to room temperature before feeding, the food still stays on the colder side. If your cat doesn't like cold food, and mine doesn't, this probably won't work for you. While the cooling keeps the food from spoiling, it does still get done of that film/crust when it's out of the alright pouch or can. My cat has a sixth sense for food that hasn't come from a freshly opened can and most of the time won't eat it. Ideally someone will make a feeder that keeps food in an airtight compartment that works like a can and doesn't require refrigeration.You can program the feeder on the app, which is nice, but I'm also tired of having to have a separate app for everything. I'm glad that the app doesn't require you to give any personal information you don't want to provide. Too many apps mandate location permissions, photo access, and contact information which is not something I'm comfortable giving certain companies. I was able to set this one up without providing any information. The app is also nice for checking on the feeder, however, without a camera or voice recording capability, this device has some limitations. You can program the device to open and close giving your cat limited time access to the food, but my issue is, without voice capabilities to call your cat to dinner, and the dinner time on this device being fairly quiet, I can see a cat sleeping through their meal time and missing it all together.One day, there will be an easy solution to give cats wet food automatically while the owners are away. This one is a step in the right direction, but it's still not there. It's the best option you'll find, so in that sense I suggest getting it, but you need to make sure your cat is okay with cold food and that you won't be gone for more than a day.

Okay this is a dream for any cat owner who has an impatient cat in the morning. This has helped me sleep in the mornings and its helped out so much during the day. Do know if your cat doesnt like cold food to keep that in mind. I just pour in some warm water when the dispenser opens for her. Im happy with the one less step for my cat. The app is also great at notifying you when its empty or turned off.

I've had this for several months now and have used it on a few trips, so let's make a pro-con list on what's good and what could be better:Pros:- Food stays cold- Automatic Scheduling- Manual Opening remotely- Chime for cats to know food is there- Sensor that lets the user know that a cat has been there and has been eating- 3 trays for multiple feeding opportunitiesCons:- The device doesn't let you know which plate has food in it, which can be problematic if you didn't fill all 3 and cannot remember which food you started with- There is no camera to know if your pet truly was eating, especially if the first con is a problem- The app only allows 1 person signed onto the account at once, meaning my wife cannot set things up without kicking myself off of the appOutside of the QOL updates listed, I think this pet food feeder is perfect for pacing cats when on short trips. We've had no issues otherwise with the wet food feeder, and we plan to buy a second one as we have 3 cats that would use this.

My cat needs wet food for two meals a day, but there are three compartments. The feeding programming system won't allow me to set it so it reliably feeds two meals a day without opening an empty compartment for my cat. It's such a great idea with horrible execution of systems design. I gave two stars because it's easy to clean and I don't have to change out refrigerator packs, which is nice.
