Decent reel, fairly smooth line capacity inst a big amount. Good entry level reel beats mist zebco.products in this price range

The size 6 is a great size for the family..All 4 of my family have one..Well made..Weight is good for a mid size reel..Easy to work with..come with 8 pound line..Orders the wrong size ..a size 10 ..again all the I wants in a east bait cast real but to heavy for casual fishing..Hope this helpsDave

Very nice spincast reel. I needed a small, lightweight but reliable combo that would fit in my backpack, so I ordered the #6 size (the #10 is a little bigger) and paired it with a bass-pro telescoping carbon-fiber casting rod. The spincast design is much less likely to get damaged in my backpack than a spinning reel. I haven't used the reel yet but it has a silky smooth retrieve and was easy to re-spool with power pro 30lb braid. That might sound like overkill, but the strong braid can slice through submerged weeds and other vegetation that can snag a lure (it will also slice through your hand so be very careful.) Never knew Pflueger made a spincast or I would have bought one a long time ago.

The quality of these reels along with the price point is incredible. It's like stepping back in time when things were metal and quality mattered. The build quality is solid. The beating system as smooth as butter. These aren't your childhood spin cast. These look and perform like professional equipment. I've tried the Daiwa Goldcasts, Zebco Bullet, Omegas....... not even in the same league as this. Buy them while you can , I'm ordering 4 more of each size.
