These boxes are the perfect size to store magazines. For anyone that has ever moved books and magazines; the box gets heavy very fast. I have moved my magazine collections so many times and everytime they get out of order or damaged. These boxes were an inexpensive way to keep 4 to 5 of my nicer magazines grouped by season or year and up to 10 of my thinner teatime or craft magazines together. Now as I need them, I can look at the individual box label and grab only a few. Will be easier to pack up for moving and can go back on the bookshelf in the box. I bought several kraft brown and white boxes to test out. Comparing the two; I would buy both again, but the white cardboard assembled more consistently and these kraft brown boxes had one left flap that seemed to keep popping out of the slots. I was able to manipulate the fold and it was fine, but if you are paying someone to assemble these or packing up items regularly, it will add to the time involved and you willneed to manipulate that edge to fold in more securely. For the kraft brown 12x9x2 about every third box had a flap issue . However the white 12x9x2 boxes had only one out of every 10. I bought the deeper white boxes and they did not assemble as well, so read my other reviews as I try out more boxes for different items. For my magazines, this was not a big deal since they are going in another box for now and the magazines hold the sides in. Would not be a big deal if I was shipping something and wrapping in another box or paper. The front flap does pop out a little, but these are not secure or magnet closure boxes and if you need that security I would get the double flap with handles at a more expensive cost.

Had a lot of bills stacking up all over the place wherever I decide to fling 'em or, lay them down at. Was tired of sorting through them all, per company so, I ordered the boxes and I can finally sort them chronologically. I try to keep all bills paid, 3 years back, was 5 but, that was just too many and also creates a fire hazard. Marks-a-Lot markers labels the box long with date/year so, I'm good to go now. Now I can start at the back of the box/stack and sort the old from the new and shred unwanted bills & envelopes.

I have been using these boxes to send out perfumes, makeup and other small items that I sell online. They are very easy to fold and stay shut well. I add two strips of packing tape so no one will open the box until it gets to my customer, but I have had no troubles at all with the boxes bending or being damaged. If I run out, I will buy these boxes again.
