Put these into the reverse lights on a 2002 VW Jetta. Lumen claims notwithstanding, they are easily 3x brighter than the original incandescent bulbs and have a wider and more uniform output. Nice to be able to see when backing up. Not that concerned with longevity, since they're reverse lights, but I hope they last.

These are way brighter than the OEM halogen bulbs they replaced. Installation was very easy and definitely cooler both in the amount of heat they produced and visually. Very impressed with how much light these emitted.

Straight substitution for 1156 headlight bulbs on my 100 series John Deere mower. One photo shows new vs old headlight. Second pic shows new LEDs and cleaned lens housing (and a bit closer to sundown). Much improved lighting. Haven't used them much yet but very happy so far when I did. Will update review if they fail.
