This has been my go-to marker pen for 45 years. I use a blue or black one most of the time, and this red one when I need more visibility for corrections. I like the tip and resulting way it writes without excessive bleed-through. And if I lose one, oh well. I get another one out of the box and their cost isn't a factor.

I had to buy the 12 pack from here, as I was unable to find these (or really any decent fine-tip red markers ) in the retail store around me. Used to, apparently not anymore. Just an FYI, teachers/educators are NOT the only ones who use RED in their work. Folks doing field work/as-builts etc. find RED to be the easiest color to differentiate when doing mark-ups, and the fact that these are fine-point, and don't run unless wet, make them ideal for those purposes.
