If you like the ease of a simple 2 stroke fuel mixture, this is the best way to go. I have had other versions of this in the past but couldn't find it when looking for it in stores. Voila! Amazon to the rescue!

this product helps a lot, especially if the kid is doing the mixing.

Great little tool for mixing 2 stroke fuel. I have always just poured in the oil until the color looked about right but for the price this seemed like a no brainer. And literally it takes all of the guesswork out of mixing fuel. Very easy to use and easy to understand. Good product!

The first time I saw the Ratio-Rite, I thought "C'mon. It's just a measuring cup. Seriously? Whats the big deal?". I always bought the small, single-use size oil bottles because it was easy. Dump in one bottle for a gallon, done. But when I decided to start using a non-standard ratio (40:1), I couldn't get it precise, so I bought one. I can honestly tell you, I wish I had done it sooner.Sure, it allows you to easily measure out dozens of different ratios for multiple quantities. But the best part is now I can buy oil in bulk by the gallon. I never realized what a rip-off those single use bottles were until I did the math! You are certainly paying for the convenience. After just a few gallons, this will have paid for itself in savings.

I was just out in the garage mixing up some 2-cycle mixture and realized how much I like the Ratio Rite measuring cup. It's reassuring to know that when I'm mixing up a batch of gas that I'm getting my "Ratio's Rite" so I won't be doing any expensive damage due to that aspect of the process. It has many different ratios, measures ounces etc., but, as another reviewer mentioned, it can be hard to read. To remedy this I took a green paint pen and lightly highlighted the raised lettering molded on the outside of the cup. I didn't bother doing all, just those I use regularly and now my tired old eyes can easily see what I'm doing, even without my reading glasses.
