BLUF: be super careful with the finish on this. It looks great & came without scratches but the finish is super soft. Also, the volume/tone knob holes may not fit your hardware & may need to be increased.Pros:- Great finish, very shiny when opened- Solid piece of steel, feels super durable- Nicely beveled holes- Total size fits a telecaster pretty well- Delivered quicklyCons:- Had to drill out the tone/volume knob holes to fit the controls I'm using: (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KEV9GYU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)- When dry fitting to the guitar body, I knicked it with a screwdriver (not hard, mind you) and it but a scratch in the finish. I tried buffing it out, and it went clear through the "gold" finish, so I ended up sanding the whole top finish off and polishing up the metal under it (which looks arguably nicer) then clear coated it for good measure. I'm assuming most of these you'd buy here would have similar issues, but it's a PITA for sure.- The screws are garbage. Buy better screws & use those.

Excellent replacement for my 32mm wide control plate. No modification of pickguard required. Mounting screws were a slight bit wider apart. I did have to drill I new mounting hole. Over all excellent replacement
