This is a good quality acrylic plate. It comes in two pieces that screw together. The acrylic comes with sticky paper on the surface to protect it from scratches in shipping. The entire piece is very sturdy. I placed it on a light stand and it held well and seems sturdy. It is a nice size for smaller items.

This acrylic plate has worked out great so far in my product photography projects. I already had a couple similar tools like this in my kit prior to this, just a smaller diameter. I was eager to compare them and I am happy to report that this 6" acrylic plate and its mount are every bit as good of quality as my others that I obtained from a specialty photography supplier but at a much higher cost. Only time will tell, but the build quality and durability after using it for a couple weeks is great and I do not have any reasons for concern. An excellent bit of grip gear to have on hand for anyone needing to do product or still life setups of any kind.

Easy to put onto a tripod. It has a threaded hole to screw in and it's the common size that everything seems to be. Have a good tripod and you'll be able to support a good amount of weight. It's not a substantial diameter so keep that in mind for what you want to be photographing.

This is a thick piece of transparent acrylic with a threaded metal insert in the middle, and a 5/8" light stand stud to 1/4 20 camera thread adapter to allow you to mount it on light stands.I do have uses for having a platform on top of a light stand for some photography I do, so it will get put to use, but I also find having a 5/8 stud to 1/4 20 adapter handy. Both the acrylic round and the adapter can be used separately.The round has the backing paper still on it, so it is in perfect condition. The edges are polished.It's a slightly odd combo, but useful.
