Lately I’ve been making Suncatchers to donate to our local nursing homes and one of my friends recommended this paint to me so I thought I’d give it a try and WOW I’m so glad I did the colors are so vibrant and bright and really make my Suncatchers look amazing. It goes on easy and the thin spout on the end helps to reach those hard to reach small spaces. I’ll definitely buy it again!

I got an awesome deal on these!!! The price has went up since but it will not stop me from buying more when i am out! Well depending on how much higher the $ goes obviously lol. But anyways I LOVE THIS PAINT!!! I love the end resault, it is fun to use, and very easy to use. I habent used the boarder colors (black, white, silver, gold) yet, i have just been using puffy paint for my outlines/boarders. After it has FULLY dried i go over finished project with a triple thick gloss coat and so far it has held up on my windchimes and bird feeder!

I used both Gallery Glass colours and lead lines to create this Tudor style window. I'm happy with the results for a first try. It was a bit challenging as I had to work with a large vertical window rather than being able to lay it flat. The product takes some practice and getting used to, but it is possible to get a pleasing effect. I haven't finished 'soldering' the lead lines with liquid lead yet. Will definitely try some leaded glass projects on other windows. An added bonus is that we no longer have bird strikes to the large window (which made us really sad -- it was happening a lot even with the decals we used at the time.)

I've been using this paint for years. It's a great value and makes a beautiful window. My goal is always to make the painted window look like authentic, vintage stained glass. And that requires applying multiple layers of paint to each section, as well as texturing each layer in order to give dimension. Patience is a must. And, if you don't like to finished look. Just cut the disliked section out with a razor blade, peel it off and start over. I have completed many windows only to be dissatisfied with the finished product. So, I simply scraped the paint off with a razor blade.Cons:Most people don't understand that this paint is temporary. Depending on how sunny or cold your climate is, a window may last 5-20 years. Some colors (especially the Ruby Red color) will fade quickly in a sunny window. So, in a couple years you may need to cut out the faded section and apply new paint. Also, this paint should only be applied to an insulated, double-paned window. Winter frost and condensation can quickly wreak havoc on this product. And, while it's very durable it does not hold up to constant freeze/thaw or excessive condensation. Old, single-paned windows (at least in Minnesota where I live) are prone to winter frost, moisture and even Ice build-up on the INSIDE of the glass where your Gallery Glass paint is applied. After a few frosts , paint will begin to peel, crack and bubble at the bottom of the glass. Double-pane windows can still develop condensation, but not nearly as much as an old single-paned window. One last thing: Gallery Glass has been making this paint for years. While the colors are beautiful. I do wish that they would develop some new colors that better reflect the warm, muted, earth tones of REAL vintage stained glass. The bright, neon colors with glitter and shimmer are fine (If that's what your looking for) But, I always struggle to find colors that mix well to create that beautiful warm look of old glass. So, PLAID Gallery Glass if your listening, I've got some helpful suggestions for you. Hit me up!
