I love these emergency lights!!! Our 15-year-old option finally decided not to be an option any more, so I took a chance on something different.I'll be honest and say that I was a little nervous ordering a light with a swiveling option. In my mind, I was telling myself that the swivel would be the weak link that would have me returning these. But, that hasn't been the case at all.These units seem to be sturdily made and I have experienced no "shorts" when rotating the light into a position that fits where I'm plugging it in.I also love having the choice of turning it into a pretty powerful flashlight if necessary. The unit fits nicely in my hand when walking around with it.I have no reservations suggesting that you try these lights out.

I've had these for 10-15 years and this is my second time purchasing them. First time was from costco but they arent listed there anymore for us anyway. These are much brighter than the 15 year old ones I have as LED technology has changed. The come on when you unplug them or lose power as expected and make a decent flashlight as well. I can roam around the yard or house as a flashlight easily. I wouldnt try to compare it to a super bright one but that is not the intention. We live in the country where we lose power every year with a snow or ice storm and this allows us to see around the house until I get the generator going. Lasts quite a long time also between charges.

This is a must-have, affordable safety tool for just about any home or office. I bought a couple to try, then gifted more to family.My original ones don't swivel, but the feature offers more flexibility in where you can plug it in, so the next few I bought were the swivel type. They all have more or less the same features otherwise, which are all really straightforward and easy to use.There's a setting that you can turn on for it to automatically light up as a nightlight when it's dim, or leave it off, and when the power goes out (to that outlet), it will light up, making it easy to find in an emergency.It can then be unplugged from the wall and used as a lightweight handheld flashlight, perfect for temporary, short-term outages, or general flashlight use. Plug it into the same outlet and you'll never have to hunt for a flashlight in the dark in a power outage again! It works really well in hallways or other spaces you might need to walk through during an outage - and the nightlight feature means it works for everyday use as well. Great for kids, elderly, or anyone whose eyes don't adjust well in the dark.One tip: If you're sensitive to light while you sleep, plug this into an outlet in the bathroom or hallway. I found out the hard way that the light is *bright* - a power outage in the middle of the night caused the light to turn on and it woke me up!

Excellent Product -- I ordered more as the first one has worked so well during power outages -- instantly shines a bright light so we are not stumbling around in the dark looking for a flashlight. Compact enough for a purse. The trim design is not intrusive on a room's decor and the optional nightlight is great when we have visitors who may not know their way to the restroom at night. Great to find a product that delivers everything promised!

Llego en perfecto estado. Se ve de buen material y duradero. Es muy pequeño como se puede ver en la foto mide aproximadamente 10 cm X 6 cm en cuanto a la luz de la lámpara es muy util cuando se va la luz, cuenta con 3 leds sin llegar a ser intensa. Ayuda a localizar las cosas. Cuanta con un sensor de luz para que se active como lámpara de noche pero no es muy util, solo cuenta con un led.El único unconveniente es que no se puede ocultar la clavija en la lámpara cuando la desenchunfas. Pro puede girar la clavija 360 ° para colocarla como más te convenga.En cuanto a duración de la batería no la he checando aún.
