The board is light, sturdy and has a hard shiny finish that is smooth and easy to clean. The clamp is just right: firm but not difficult to open.

I need a dozen of these large-sized clipboards for when students are working in pairs! This is a most wanted item in my classroom and many others!

I home school my 3 kids and as of late, we've actually had to do lots of roadschooling in the car. We have a long commute to both my job and to the grandparent's house that we've had to spend a lot of time at recently. I have one kiddo who has loved trying to get most of his book work done on the drive so when we arrive he's free to do whatever he wants. It's pretty and isn't easily bent, but I imagine it would break under enough pressure. The only thing I'd change is that either it have 2 different clips or it's clip to be larger, because often we want to have 2 different pages visible at the same time. The current clip doesn't always hold the paper correctly and it will fall at an angle. Doesn't stop us from using it though. It's better than a typical clipboard.

Clipboard arrived warped in the middle. Left it under a stack of books for several days with hopes it would straighten out. It didn’t. The clipboard simply warped in the middle again. The clip doesn’t hold the paper well.

I've been using this clipboard a lot recently, which measures 11x17 inches, and I'm pleased with its performance. The large format provides plenty of space to work on artwork or other writing projects without feeling cramped.One of the clipboard's strengths is its ability to hold paper securely in place. Even with standard 8 ½ x 11 inch sheets, the extra room allows for easy maneuvering and organization. This feature has been particularly useful for me. Overall, I'm satisfied with this clipboard and would recommend it to anyone in need of a spacious drawing or sketching surface.
