The idea is a great one and it works if the the cups actually fit the vehicle like it advertise. even with the sticky tape on it that comes with it it does not want to stay in the door handle and the cups just pop upwards and out of the door even with the door closed for a few min. Maybe with a redesign this would work better.

They do fit into the Rav4 door handles perfectly. However, the angle is not efficient for actually storing items. The sticky strips does hold them in place, which is good, but when you close the door, whatever is in them may come out. I use the one on the driver's side to hold my phone while I'm driving. The phone doesn't fit perfectly, but it does keep the phone roff my console.

It’s always amazing to see what people can conceptualize and design, whereas I’d probably never look at the space behind the door handle and think of putting a storage container there! It’s an ingenious use of space if you really need more storage in the RAV or want to keep certain items within arms reach. It fits securely but I question the overall utility; if there are items inside it’s an impediment to grasping the door handle. I like the open feeling of grasping the large door handle in the RAV4 and didn’t feel like there was a lack of existing storage and cubbies so I’m not currently using it. However if the items are being removed prior to leaving the vehicle or you just want convenient access to frequently accessed items then this could be a good fit for you.
