This angle and arc marking guide is a pretty useful tool. You can quickly use it to easily lay out nice rounded or 90° bent corners on square and rectangular tube steel. It's a simple tool but effective and fast.This one was clearly made from laser cut stainless steel (20 gauge or .0375" or .9525mm) and while I'm fairly certain it's relatively accurate for the task the fit and finish of the tool is just a little bit rough. It has burrs on the edges it has some slag from the cutting process. This is a minor complaint,and anyone with the skill set too use this tool effectively can probably knock down those burrs in a few moments with a file or sanding block and potentially adjust the band. They don't really affect the usefulness of the tool all that much but it just feels a little bit sloppy.The bend is also a bit overbent it's past a 90° angle, meaning you have to put some pressure to get a good mark on a corner. It's roughly about 3 to 4° out of square. This is a little bit more annoying, because it probably should have been closer to a proper 90.None of these minor complaints really make the tool unusable, but it is a little rough around the edges literally.

When I saw the different radius's on this tool I thought it would be real handy for marking corners. Turns out that they face the wrong way to be used to radius a corner. That said if you do a lot of fabrication with square tubing and like the one piece radius-ed corner then this tool is worth a closer look. It does make laying out that type of corner treatment very quick and easy. I did find that my layout tool was bent a little past 90 degrees that makes it hard to fit snugly to the piece of tube steel I am marking. Also the supplied marks is a rather tight fit in the slots of the tool. This does make for a very accurate layout but if the tool is up off the surface even the slightest bit then the marker doesn't touch the metal you are trying to mark. Overall it not as useful as I was hoping for.
