I freaking love this rice cooker! I follow the directions and it turns out perfect every time. I even decided to be a rebel and not prewash my rice and it still turned out perfect! Just make sure you set your microwave at 70% power ;) I love how quickly it cooks the rice and without that mess that boiling on the stove makes. It’s easy to store your leftovers in the container and it’s super easy to wipe clean after. The rice scoop that comes with it is complete garbage.

Long term downgraded review:While I still stand by my original opinion that this cooker makes great rice, over time the plastic material from which the container is made has degraded and become harder to clean since the inside surface is no longer smooth, but rough. Because of that I am revising my rating to 3 from 5. Microwaving is still a great way to cook rice, but I would recommend a higher quality cooker, preferably one that is ceramic or glass.[Original review]:I've cooked several batches of rice since the rice cooker I ordered was delivered a couple of days ago. My reaction on cooking my first batch of rice in it? Wow!Even though this was recommended by a friend, I was still a bit skeptical about cooking rice in a microwave oven. But I'm too cheap/poor to buy a "real" rice cooker, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Apparently, my skepticism was unfounded. That first one was the best batch of rice I've cooked in years. Fluffy, perfectly cooked, and ridiculously simple to make - just add the correct amount of rice and water (after first washing the rice), pop it into the microwave, set the timer and walk away. The subsequent ones were the same - perfect. Until... I ran low rice and had to make a smaller batch. The first few weren't huge, just two scoops of the included measuring cup and 1.5 times as much water. And all were perfect. The last batch was only half as large, but I wasn't paying attention and set the microwave for the same time as the larger batches. The difference wasn't big, but it was noticeable. The quality of this rice was "only" great, rather than awesomely perfect. So pay attention to your times and quantity. Time to hit the grocery store and grab a big bag of rice. I think I'm going to be using this thing a lot.I LOVE it!Followup:Now that I've had this a little longer I do have to say there is a drawback to it. It is so fast and easy to make great rice that I've already put on a few extra pounds. Oh well...

Más chica que otras pero cumple su función. Por el precio y funcionalidad vale mucho la pena. Es muy útil para el arroz de sushi, queda listo en tan solo 8 minutos.

La verdad no imaginé el tamaño por la descripción ya que simplemente asumo que era del tamaño de las ollas de microondas que he tenido antes, sin embargo y a pesar de su tamaño tan pequeño funciona bastante bien y tiene un diseño bonito, para comidas de una persona o porciones de no más de dos personas.

Una maravilla cocer pasta y arroz. Solo hay que seguir las instrucciones y ajustar los tiempos según el horno de cada quien, yo tuve que aumentar en un 75% los tiempos de cocción. Dice que es para tocino pero las instrucciones no lo indican.

Functional item at a good price.Not as stylish as, but as practical & cheaper than the „Joseph Joseph“ alternative (which melted in my microwave, admittedly probably because I forgot to dial down the power level).I use it for rice & pasta.It’s faster and more energy efficient than stove top or designated rice cooker. Plus, much to my surprise, the whole grain varieties also turn out best when I „nuke“ them.

I haven't used my cooker for pasta or veggies yet, but I used it for rice for the first time yesterday, and I was so blown away to have PERFECT rice out of the microwave! Yippee! No more scrubbing pots or the rice cooker! I followed the included directions exactly for my Jasmine Rice. Rinsed it, measured in the water and salt, put on the inner and outer lids, and cooked it for the recommended time at 70% power (as recommended for microwaves that are 1000 watts or greater). No stirring needed during the cooking time-- just set the microwave and leave it alone! So easy!When the recommended time was up, I didn't take off the lid right away; I just let the rice sit for a few minutes while I finished preparing my meal. The rice was absolutely perfect! I was really surprised, because I've tried multiple times to cook rice in the microwave using the directions on the bag of rice or recipes from the Internet, all with terrible, inedible results.I chose to prepare a large amount of rice and had a lot left over. I put the lid on and stored the rice in my fridge, right inside the cooker! So convenient!Everything in the set is dishwasher safe.Even though I haven't yet used this cooker for pasta or veggies, the great results with rice make it worth the price for me already!I eat a lot of rice because of special dietary needs, and I can tell this microwave rice cooker is going to become an indispensable kitchen tool for me. I highly recommend it! I am looking forward to cooking veggies and pasta in it, too.The included measuring cups and spoons and the pasta measure make this set a really good value. I also think it would make a terrific gift!My only wish is that they would make this set in some pretty colors, rather than grey, which seems kind of drab to me. A sunny yellow or trendy turquoise blue or classic red maybe? But that's a small complaint for a really reasonably-priced, immensely useful set! I'm definitely happy with my purchase!

Es muy versátil y práctica, la cantidad de arroz que le cabe realmente rinde, el instructivo explica muy bien como se utiliza, lo único que cambiamos es la cantidad de sal que indica. A diferencia de otros productos que habíamos usado para microondas este funciona de maravilla, no se descarapelo es resistente.
