Glad to know that it doesn’t smell bad. Was concerned about the chalky look, but once you soak them they look more like meat. AND they are rock hard dry, so you really have to soak them. I didn’t wet it enough the first time and my cat appeared to have a hard time swallowing the pieces she managed to break off. Got to say, when mixed with her organic kibble and pieces of chicken, she targets in on the Primal first!

My oriental shorthair is a spoiled feline who won't touch canned food or kibble. He used to always harass us for human food no matter what it was, but especially when preparing raw meat. I would occasionally give him raw ground beef, bison or steak but I dont feel its sustainable. He loves primal now and his human food desires have been reduced *still wants raw meat though if he smells it.His favorite proteins for primal are the venison, rabbit and pork. He won't touch the other flavors.
