The fact that you have to provide your own sealant, and the curved end, really make this an exceptional product. My experiences with other splash guards that have double sided tape always ended badly as they came off over time or nasty mold easily formed on the tape, even if heavy duty outdoor tape was used. For this item I thoroughly cleaned all surfaces to be joined with alcohol, let dry, applied copious amounts of white PPG Tub & Tile acrylic sealant on the horizontal and vertical surfaces (on wall and tub, not on the item), placed the item and held it in place for 4 minutes, then gently cleaned off any excess sealant with just my index finger. We didn't shower for 36 hours afterwards to allow full curing of the adhesive. It holds super secure and there are no more water puddles on our floor after showers.

Product works as it should. would be nice if it came with 2 way tape

We decided to order this instead of the smaller ones that were found locally. These are much sturdier and we liked that they were curved to redirect the water.These are quite large, however, that outweighed the water damage that we had due to kids splashing the floor and walls. They are made of a thick, plastic material.These do not come with instructions or adhesive. We have found, in the past, the ones with adhesive/tape, eventually come loose. To install these, we used a small amount of silicone caulking on the surface of the plastic and then caulking the edges to create a straight finished edge. After a few showers, they have held up very well.A few notes:-these have a significant curve and will need a tub/surface with the space to allow the curve-they are a little more difficult to install if your wall/tub is not square. We had to use extra caulking to fill in the gap.-there are no hooks on this style to clip in the shower curtain.A recommended product - we have ordered another set for our main bathroom.

I had a real problem with water splashing down the side of the bath when showering, this little gadget has solved the problem..!
