I have been looking for a good note-taking solution for years - and I have tried a lot of things. Scanning notes with my phone, the Moleskin pen, Rocket Books, etc.....while some of that was a good product, what I really wanted was something that could work with my iPad. I just have a regular, cheap iPad, not a pro model. I had tried taking notes before, but the glass was just too slick.I was strongly considering dishing out $500+ for a reMarkable 2, but I thought I would try the $12 solution first. I am so glad I did. This has answered everything I am looking for. It adds enough friction and traction with the screen to be much more paperlike. Listen, you'll never get 100% the feel of paper, but this gets you pretty close. It will somewhat dull the image on the screen, but not enough where it affects your overall enjoyment of your iPad.My only complaint was that the installation stickers for the back of the iPad as shown in the instructional video were not included. I used Scotch tape instead (masking, painter's tape would work as well). Do the installation in the bathroom or another low hair/dust room. No bubbles, no hairs, no dust. The screen went on perfectly (and I am usually not very good at putting them on).Overall, I would strongly recommend it. I was very skeptical this would be a solution, especially at this price point, but it fully earns a 5-star review from me.

I watch movies on my iPad as well as draw with it, so I was concerned that this film would undermine the colors but it does not at all! And it's an absolute pleasure to draw on! So much more precision and better feel. I was able to install it without a problem, but yes, I do have one very tiny bubble I can't seem to smooth out, but it's really tiny and not bothersome. I highly recommend this to anyone who draws on their iPad - I think you will really like it.

REVIEW FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE & PRODUCT:Review for Customer Service: I’ve put on lots of screen protectors - but only on phones. I assumed this would be similar... and I could not have been more wrong!! It’s tougher with a larger screen, you gotta be more careful with cleaning the dust/lint off, and of course, the day I decided to install the screen protector was also the day I wore my warm - and furry - sweater. So naturally there was more lint flying around. Everything that could have gone wrong did. I happened to see the info card that arrived with the screen protector. I reached out to Customer Service, explained what happened, and within a week, I received my FREE replacement! They also followed up with me several weeks after to ask how the second installation went. Overall, 10/10 for quick, easy replacements for silly, overconfident fools like myself.Review for the Product: The “Paperlike” rough texture really helps with drawing on my iPad. I am using ProCreate to draw on my iPad for the first time and the transition from actual paper to the iPad has been smooth with this screen protector.

I would like to inform that my review is for the screen protector that fits an iPad 7th gen. I had ordered this one initially and didn't realize until it had arrived my mistake. I contacted the company and explained my situation, I asked if I could exchange the wrong size for the one I really needed. They told me I didn't need to send the one I had received back and that they would send the correct sized one soon. The correspondence was quick and I had the correct sized screen protector within a couple of days of informing them.As for the screen protector (size is the only difference between this and the one I actually use) it's fantastic. It has a nice tooth for drawing or writing. Writing feels easier as opposed to a slick surface like the glass. It does wear down the Apple Pencil tip a bit over time, so replacement tips will be needed in the future. Also, the clarity compared to the normal glass surface is different. There is a sort of "rainbow grain", like when you sit in front of an old TV, that on occasion when looking at a lighter background it can be distracting. I feel it's a fair trade for minimal glare and texture sensory. (:

Best points:- Not as gritty as most pencils/pens on printer paper, but WAY less slippery than pure glass.- I've been using it for about 20 hours total of math/physics, and there are no signs of wear on the apple pencil tip, nor has the apple pencil scratched the screen protector.- Genuinely sounds like paper.- Doesn't get very dirty/oily, easy to clean with just a microfiber cloth.- Very slight rainbowing/reduction in screen quality, but I literally don't notice at all when I'm writing/reading.- Finger glides over the screen smoothly.- Really affordable, especially since you can get a replacement for free, no questions asked.- Using a case doesn't make the edges peel up. I use this case for reference:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D7NTCJF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1"New iPad 9.7 2018/2017 Case with Pencil Holder, Soke Smart iPad Case Trifold Stand with Shockproof Soft TPU Back Cover and Auto Sleep/Wake Function for iPad 9.7 inch 5th/6th Generation, Dark Grey"Tips:- DUST-FREE INSTALLATION: Before installing, let a shower run at it's hottest for 3-5 minutes with the door closed. Turn the shower off and wait ~5 min for the steam to clear up, still keeping the door closed. Then you're ready to bring your iPad and screen protector into the bathroom. Line up the screen protector (make sure the sticky side is down), and use the 3 rectangular stickers to secure it to the IPad so it opens like a book. Consider rubbing the stickers on some fabric beforehand to reduce the stickiness so you don't accidentally peel up the screen protector after installation. Peel off the sticky side of the screen protector, drop the screen protector on flat, and use the felt card to get rid of bubbles. Remove the stickers and front layer from screen protector/IPad and it should be great.- REPLACEMENTS: If you mess up, email them!!! They'll send you a replacement for free, no questions asked. The package was really beat up when I got it, but the screen protector was fine.
