Absolute garbage. They bent and broke immediately after installing

Needed to replace the hardware on a bunch of shutters. These got the job done at a reasonable price. Can recommend!

Well this is a hot hot mess.I read the previous reviews about some being twisted/ bent, so I ordered extra with the intention of swapping some around and returning any faulty. Out of 10 total sets (meaning 20 shutters/ 40 hinges) I was only able to get 3 complete sets (6 shutters) to work.Oddly, the bottom left and top right hinges (same L shape, flipped upside down on the pintle) worked the majority of the time, and the top left and bottom right almost never fit over the pintle. The opening on these faulty hinges was not a circular hole, so sometimes they would squeeze over the pintle with some effort and twisting, but wouldn’t fit over the pintle at all when flipped. The few hinges that did fit with twisting caused the finish on the pintle to rub off. I was concerned that if I installed them on the shutter and tried to install on a mounted pintle I wouldn’t be able to twist them in a way that they would fit. It’s as if different people were working on the different “L” shapes, and one group got it (mostly) right and made circular openings that could fit over the pintle, and the other group missed the mark totally as the hole was almost like a pentagon with uneven/ tighter or looser openings once flipped.Additionally, the hinges were not consistently shaped at the bend, some of them had a more sloped bend and others more angled. When a top hinge is sloped and bottom is angled, they won’t sit evenly on the shutter once installed.. would cause shutters to sit crooked because the slope causes you to mount further out. I considered trying to reshape them, but realized it would damage the finish based on the pintles rubbing off so easily. These look nice and would have worked with simple quality control. Clearly each hinge was not tested before packaging since over half didn’t fit.Needless to say, I decided to send all these back. There are very limited “L” shutter hinge options on Amazon, and these were a good price compared to other sites, but for better quality and function I found some that cost only a little more on House of Antique Hardware.
