This keyboard worked perfectly for my Microsoft Surface Go. Everything connected easily and it was easy to set up and use. I like how lightweight and portable this keyboard is. It's a great tool to have when traveling if you don't want to lug around an entire laptop. The build quality feels solid and it's usable for everything I need, like quickly jotting down notes or typing on the go. A great option for those not wanting to shell out for a keyboard they'll only need periodically.

I've been experimenting with moving more of my work to my phone, and I was looking for a keyboard to use with it. Most of the keyboards said they were iOS or Surface keyboards, but I didn't see a reason why it wouldn't connect via Bluetooth to my phone, and this does indeed work with my phone's Android OS! I even have shortcuts like Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, and Ctrl+A while using it, and it works when I connect my phone to an external monitor and use DeX, as well. I also tried connecting it to my Windows 11 Samsung laptop, and it worked that way, too, so I could use a keyboard from a distance with my laptop if it's connected to a monitor or something. I did notice one of the shortcuts for one of my Edge extensions did not work on this keyboard for some reason, but otherwise everything worked as expected. As far as build quality, it feels quite nice. I like the soft texture of the bottom and surrounding, though I do worry that it might lend itself to getting dirtier easier because of its grippiness. I like the keys themselves better than the keys on my Samsung laptop, since they are a bit taller and made of a grippier plastic than my Samsung keys. However, it isn't as long as my 13.3 inch Samsung laptop's keyboard, so it can feel a bit cramped. The trackpad, while working fairly well, can also be a bit sensitive and definitely is the cheapest part of this Bluetooth keyboard. However, I like that there is a trackpad, since many of these smaller Bluetooth keyboards don't seem to include them at all.One thing to note is that to turn on the Bluetooth, you need to press Fn+C. The manual said to press Fn+(a little swirly design button), and I had been trying to press that design on the little black strip of buttons below the keys, until I noticed that swirly design was also present in blue on the C key. The little lights on the black strip are not buttons at all, so to turn Bluetooth on, you need to press Fn+C and then the light on the black strip should start blinking. I have also noticed when connecting to my Android phone, that often it won't re-connect and instead I will see the Bluetooth keyboard as a new connection, so I remove the previous pairing and re-pair. I haven't found this to be inconvenient, but it is something to note that you might not just be able to re-connect like a lot of Bluetooth devices.Overall, I really like this keyboard. I think it is especially great for travelling since it is small and light, and comes with a trackpad so you don't need to fit a separate mouse into your bag. Due to the trackpad being the weakest part of this keyboard, I would recommend if you're planning to use this mostly in a desktop scenario, to get a separate mouse for comfort. But with how small this is, it will probably mostly be used on-the-go, and it is pretty much perfect for that situation. So if you're looking for a portable, all-in-one set of keys and trackpad for on-the-go or as a backup to use with Windows or even Android, I'd highly recommend this little keyboard.

I'm using this keyboard type this review. The typing feel for this keyboard is pretty good despite it's super-thin nature. The small scale takes getting used to, especially the space bar, which I keep missing. I'm either not actuating the mechanical switch, or touching the touchpad with my thumb and triggering some unexpected activity. Thankfully the touchpad can be disabled easily. It's nice that it transmits battery level so the connected device can display that level. Some other downsides to this product:- the touchpad is quite laggy. It'll do in a pinch, but if you need any significant amount of mouse usage, get a mouse. I do have several other Bluetooth devices connected simultaneously though, and I have seen some other mice and BT dongle combinations be laggy when there are multiple devices connected.- doesn't work other devices I hoped it might work with, e.g. a Chromecast/GoogleTV. It might pair, but won't connect. It also seems to generate new Bluetooth MAC addresses across multiple pairing attempts. Maybe that's how it's supposed to work for privacy/security??? With a Fire HD 10 tablet, it'll pair, but won't actually do anything either as a keyboard or as a touchpad/mouse.- it'd be nice if it worked as a generic Bluetooth keyboard, including pairing to multiple devices simultaneously so you can switch without re-pairing, but this isn't a generic keyboard, so it's no big deal.

Looking for a cheaper alternative for more Microsoft Service Go. The Microsoft type cover can be as much as a $100. This one was much cheaper than that. I like the feel of the keys and it's a good quality product. I would recommend this if you are looking for a cheaper alternative.

For a Surface Go 4 it is a little oversized. Works fine, but I don't like the way the edges of the keyboard stick out 1/4" per side when mounted and closed.
