Arrived son time took about 15 minutes to change out on boat been nice to come with cover to go behind wheeel to hide rest of the shaft and gap between dash and wheel mine is old cracked but little paint can help

The only thing that holds the wheel to the adapter are 6 bolts which is fine .The problem I have is that to tighten them up securely their is a plastic decorative cap that goes in between the screws and adapter when tighting up it cracked.I didn't over tighten its not suitable.If it cracks on the water the wheel will come off and steering will be hard.I thought the steering nut held the wheel and adapter in place .I was wrong.Might be good as a golf cart wheel but no way for a boat.
