Years ago I purchased a stainless steel (inox) pod and it didn’t work - did not fit exactly, and was super expensive Made in Germany product. I just tried this one, and it is both easy, and fits into the machine no problem whatsoever. Sealing is very simple and quick, and coffee (I used pre-ground Delta brand) came out delicious and with gorgeous crema on top. After brewing, drink your coffee first, as the capsule (of course) is too hot to handle. However, I popped it into a quick ice water dip, removed the alu foil, discarded that into recyclables, dumped the grounds, rinsed, and done. Quick and so good

Always considered trying one of these. Good chance to really see if they're up to it.It's a well adorned pack. Instructions and info around recycling so nice to see it's coming from a real place of environmental responsibility. It is a bit fiddly to load. Obvious advantage is you can use your own blend in a machine. The cap sticker is also a bit fiddly and you need to make sure all stray grinds are removed to make sure it sticks properly.Herein lies the problem though. These type of dispensers are prevalent in the market yet. So apart from the replacement cost issue which others have commented on there is the issue that the market may dry up and you wont get stickers in the future. Potentially making the whole kit redundant. All in all though its a nice, well made kit and if you are a committed coffee aficionado and environmentalist you will likely look over the cons.

I was a little unsure if these would actually fit my Nespresso, but they do. If you look in the last picture they are slightly shorter than the disposable pods. I was a bit nervous that closing the pod into the machine would break something (since these are stainless steel) but it was fine and it brewed a good cup of espresso. It turns out all my fears were for nothing!Filling them is pretty easy with the scoop that was included. It is the perfect amount, then you turn it around to tamp it down a bit. I spilled a little, but after I put the foil stickers on it I just held the whole thing over the sink and blew on it to clean it off. I like how the base has silicone to seal the pods from the bottom so they stay fresh. The aluminum foil seals are easy to put on, and it comes with 120 seals. Additional seals seem to be readily available. They came with many little green rings, which seem to be replacement seals for around the rim of the pod. It doesn't seem like something that will need to be replaced often, but we'll see. I've got something like 20 replacement rings! The clear base is really attractive and I don't mind having it on my counter.Overall these work well, are easy to use, and are an attractive way to keep my coffee habit a little greener.

These are really nicely made, well designed and well presented reusable pods. They do have one unavoidable drawback, which I believe is common to all reusable pods. They are slightly shorter that the disposable pods, which are normally pierced at the top in use, which results in a smaller charge of coffee. I did test this as empirically as possible by removing the coffee from a disposable pod and packing it into the resusable pod and I couldn't fit it all in. I've found this means that I either have a slightly smaller cup of coffee or a weaker one. That being said, I really like these pods. The disposable sticker caps might seem like they defeat the object of reusable pods at first, but they mean that the coffee is brewed under pressure for a few seconds before the cover breaks, just like the original pods. This improves the flavour and is quite noticable when using reusable pods that simply have a mesh filter at the bottom. The pods come with a pack of 120 lids so you won't run out quickly. These caps cost about 7 pence each if you by 500 at a time so they're not too expensive. The pods also use a thin gasket around the base and they come with plenty of spares just in case. So far I've made about 20 cups using a single pod and gasket and there's no sign of wear or damage so I can't see that I'll need to buy any more gaskets. If you're after a good resuable pod that will take any coffee you choose, then I can recommend these.Pros:* They worked without any problems in my old Krups Nespresso machine* Good materials and manufacture* The disposable covers means that each cup is brewed in the manner designed by Nespresso* They feel high quality and are very well presented* Come with a good supply of the disposable caps and plenty of spare gaskets* The storage tray looks good and is nice and heavyCons:* They have a slightly smaller volume than disposable pods and therefore make a slightly smaller cup or weaker coffee, but that will be true for all reusable pods as far as I can tell

The RECAPS Reusable Coffee Filter Capsules are a great alternative to expensive Nespresso pods. This set is great because it is designed to make up to 6 pods ahead of time, so that it is just as easy to make a coffee when you want it as it is with the Nespresso pods. The set comes with 6 metal capsules and an acrylic storage stand that keeps the pods fresh with silicone boots. I like to prepare 6 pods in the afternoon or evening so that they're ready to go in the morning. The set also comes with 120 disposable foil lids, lots of spare silicone washers, and a small plastic scoop.I love being able to prepare my own pods with my own coffee, but there are a couple things I wish were different. This set is ALMOST sustainable. The disposable foil lids keep this from being a truly sustainable option. Plus, they're pretty difficult to remove from the spent pods. I have another reusable coffee pod that has a metal lid that works well. I wish that this set came with 6 metal lids instead of the 120 disposable foil lids. In order to get good results, you need to tamp the coffee inside the pods. This set does not include a tamper. Instead, you are supposed to use the bottom of the small plastic scoop. Thankfully, my other reusable coffee pod came with a metal scoop and a metal tamper that works well with this kit.I had to play around with the coarseness and volume of the grind to get good results. My initial attempts failed because my grind was too fine. Also, at least in my machine, the pod doesn't fit inside my machine on its own. After carefully dropping the pod inside, I need to push the bottom of the pod in further to ensure that it lines up correctly with the machine.Overall, I'm quite happy to be able to prepare my own coffee pods. Recommended.
