So many batteries listed online are way overspec'd. The vendor lists their product as having 5AH of storage, but then when you open the product up; you see it's loaded with 3AH or less of cell capacity. This is not one of those. When I took the batter apart to examine it's construction I discoverd that this product contained 5S2P configuration of Aeboren 18650 XWD26R (2600maH capacity) cells, bringing this battery up to a nominal of 5.2AH vs. it's claimed 5.5AH. I'm sure, the cells when new product due a bit more so the vendor's 'stretching' to 5.5AH -- I have no issue with this level of stretch claims. The plastic case construction is solid. The Batery indicator mechnism is improved over my other OEM batteries.Internally, I found generally good workmanship with only minor flaws. A few not-as-good-as-expected solder joints. No padding on the bottom of the cells (but good insulation on it's sides), and a fair amount of solder flux that was not removed. However, none of this affects core operation. When charged, my factory charger recognized and properly charged it. Running it in my Saw and Impact Driver cordless tools was as expected. I have several 2AH batteries, and this battery's run time was clearly superior (I'd say at least double).Since the pricing is improved over OEM batteries, and the performance meet manufacturer claims; I give this a full 5 stars. Recommended.

This battery comes at a reasonable price for an extended runtime battery, not the best price I could find for the mah but way cheaper than EOMs. The light on the front is a great idea. It's not super bright, but bright enough to help me see a screw head in the complete dark. You have to long press the button back that shows battery status. And it only turns on when you release the button, not while holding it in.I love my Ryobi tools and this works perfectly well in them. Clicking it in and releasing are easy like EOMs. Overall, pretty good replacement battery.

This is a review of the 5500mAh 18V P108 Lithium Replacement for Ryobi Battery Compatible with Ryobi Battery P102 P103 P104 P105 P107 P108 P109 and 18V Cordless Tools from Masione. This is a nice less expensive alternative to OEM batteries. Works with all my RYOBI tools and vacuum. Charges just like my OEM batteries. I can’t speak for capacity as I have no way of measuring that. Same size and weight as my 4.5 mAh batteries. Has a front light, but I don't use it. I can't find anything wrong with it. Overall good form, fit and functional replacement/spare battery.

I picked up this replacement 18V Ryobi lithium-ion battery when my original one finally stopped holding a charge, and it’s been working great so far. It clicks into my tools securely and charges up just like the original. I’ve been using it with a drill and a trimmer, and it holds power well through a full session of work—no sudden drops or weird charging issues. What I really appreciate is that it doesn’t feel any heavier or bulkier than what I’m used to, and the tools run just as strong. It’s been a smooth switch, and I’m glad I didn’t have to retire any of my gear just yet. No surprises—just solid performance right out of the gate.

Bottom line, It works fine if your expectations and budget are low. The battery doesn’t lock in place on my tools like the OEM batteries. You have to slap the bottom pretty hard to get it to lock in place. Perhaps more importantly is that the weight vs rated Ah doesn’t add up. As you can see in the pics an OEM 4.0 Ah battery weighs 58 grams more despite being rated at 28% less than this one. Lithium cells generally weigh consistently and more cells are required for a higher Ah rating. The math doesn’t math. The “light” is barely usable. I went into our bathroom commode closet in the complete dark and I could barely see with the light on.
